The new scarcity is trust
The 2025 Edelman Trust Barometer describes widespread institutional distrust and argues that organisations must listen, deliver shared benefits and rebuild confidence. In that environment, publishing more is not enough. People look for evidence that an identifiable person understands the problem and will remain present after the promise.
You do not need a mass audience
A commercially useful brand may consist of a few thousand relevant people who clearly understand what you do. Precision beats celebrity. State the problem you solve, demonstrate how you think, show the work behind your conclusions and make it easy for the right person to recognise themselves.
Publish evidence, not content fog
Replace generic commentary with field notes, decision frameworks, annotated examples, measured experiments and honest post-project lessons. Explain where AI helped, where it failed and what a human decided. This material is harder to imitate because it emerges from lived work.
A simple publishing system
Choose three questions customers repeatedly ask. Each month, publish one substantial answer, one practical tool and one short case observation. Link every claim to a credible source where possible. Over time, consistency and specificity create a searchable body of judgment—not merely a social feed.
Sources and further reading
Sources validate the general principles discussed. Conclusions and practical recommendations are the author’s synthesis.
